Regulations
All of those who use the BIO28 SWIMMING POOLS, even on a temporary basis, for
engaging in sports activities related to the opportunities provided by the Center, declare in
advance by signing a specific application form to accept the rules indicated in this regulation
and in the Statute.
Non-compliance implies the immediate suspension of attendance and the invalidation of any
contracts for the use of the premises.
The membership card is mandatory and strictly personal.
Documentations required by the Association//for membership:
- Filled-out application form.
- Identity document.
- Tax code.
- Medical Certificate of non-competitive sports suitability.
Documentations required for booking premises, classes and various activities by non-
members (Intensive, Workshop, Residence, Experience):
- ID and/or certification from the legal representative of the requesting company.
- Release of liability form.
The improper use of the membership card implies its immediate suspension.
Registrations for activities are valid one year from the issue of the membership card.
All facilities made available to members are entrusted to the integrity and education of users.
The maintenance of cleanliness, order, hygienic conditions and environmental decorum are
essential for the smooth running of the various sporting activities.
Any form of vulgarity and trouble is not allowed by managers, coaches and whoever is in
charge, who are called upon to enforce the rules of conduct. Anyone who will be found
responsible for infringement of any kind may be immediately removed from the Bio28
premises.
Any damage to the premises and equipment will be charged to those who personally caused
them and/or those who in some way, directly or indirectly, made them possible.
The Board of Directions of Bio28 assume no responsibility for the custody of clothing,
valuables and objects belonging to users of the Centre.
Except for special timings related to various services and sports activities at Bio28, activities
are only carried out during the hours indicated in the schedule.
Special hours and closure periods for holidays are indicated by reception and by the on
Bio28’s communication channels.
The Board of Directors, even upon verbal communication from a manager, reserves the right
to revoke the membership application, the right to use premises and to remove, at any time
of the year, who persist in showing indifference or continuous conflict with the educational
principles that the association is inspired by.
Timetable - Observance of the timetable for attending the various sporting activities is
strictly binding: the timings cannot be changed.
Holidays – Holidays are not counted in the number of scheduled lesson hours. Except for
special agreements with the Management, no activities will take place outside of the
indicated hours.
Privacy – (Legislative Decree 196/2003) upon registration, each member authorizes the
processing of personal data for the sole administrative and organizational purposes inherent
to the activities of the Centre.
Acceptance - users must be aware of the internal regulations displayed in the various
premises.
1. The designated dressing room is based on the gender of the accompanying adult. To avoid unnecessary crowding of the dressing room it is reminded that the presence of parents and caregivers is limited to dressing operations; during lessons it is possible to wait in the atrium or in the solarium area of the swimming pool.
2. People suffering from illnesses that affect the normal performance of swimming activities (contagious, epidemics, etc.) cannot access the swimming pool.
3. It is forbidden to introduce glass objects into the pool area and dressing rooms without prior authorization: the use of prescription glasses or sunglasses in the pool is not permitted; goggles must have plastic lenses.
4. The use of fins, paddles or other swimming equipment is conditional to the number of users of the swimming lane and it is subject only to the provisions of the lifeguard who will evaluate the possibility of danger for other users.
5. It is forbidden to walk around naked inside the dressing rooms.
6. It is forbidden to wear shoes inside the swimming pool area with the exception of the atrium; pool slippers must be clean; only members of staff are allowed to wear sneakers.
7. Before entering the water it is mandatory to pass through the foot washer and take a shower.
8. It is not mandatory to wear a swimming cap.
9. Users must respect the swimming lane assigned by the staff: even during the activity staff may relocate users to different lanes.
10. For the free swimming activity, a maximum of 5 people per lane is allowed: upon reaching this threshold users will have to wait their turn in the relaxation area of the pool.
11. The use of diving equipment is strictly forbidden.
12. It is forbidden to throw clothing and objects of any kind into the water, except for equipment provided for planned activities.
13. It is forbidden to play with a ball both in the water and in the swimming pool area, push others, make tactless jokes, talk loudly and in any case carry out any disruptive action towards other users.
14. Running is prohibited for personal and others’ safety.
15. Using waste bins is mandatory.
16. Access to dressing rooms is allowed 15 minutes before the start of your hour lesson.
17. The staff is required to enforce this regulation and to intervene if necessary: in cases requiring it, the intervention of law enforcement will be requested.
18. Children under 12 years of age can do free swimming only if accompanied by an adult. Areas dedicated to free swimming must be used only for swimming: other activities such as diving, shouting, games, etc. will result in immediate removal from the area.
19. Knowledge of the swimming pool regulations displayed in the premises of the facility itself is taken for granted. Failure to comply with these rules is sufficient grounds for banishment from the Association.
20. The uncovered pool cannot be used in the presence of stormy weather and the mandatory decision lies with the company and the lifeguards.
