BREATHE, HEAL & TRANSFORM.
Breath is our most powerful tool to regulate our energy levels, all our bodily systems, our mood. Proper breathing optimizes oxygen delivery and nervous system balance, supporting the harmonious function of all bodily systems, including the immune, digestive, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems, while promoting overall health and emotional well-being. It is our strongest tool – available to us at all times - to either boost ourselves when we are feeling low or on the other hand to down regulate when we are stressed or anxious. We will look into how we can learn to breathe better and use the breath to improve our physical & mental health.
This workshop is part of Bio28’s Yoga Foundations series, which offers an exploration into the core elements of yoga practice, providing a strong foundation for both beginners and seasoned practitioners. Once a month we will focus on a different aspect of yoga, from asanas (postures) to breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, sound healing and mantra. Explore how yoga can help with regulating our nervous system, discover the philosophy behind the practice, and learn to set powerful intentions (Sankalpa) to guide your journey.
Those who wish may stay for lunch at Bio28 or book a massage after the workshop.
