Somatic Yoga offers an approach based on the Hatha and Vinyasa styles, but practised more freely and intuitively.
Breath is central and guides the movements, which alternate between classical asanas and instinctive, creative movements. This class aims to develop body awareness, placing less emphasis on the perfection of asanas and more on internal connection. The class offers a balance between activating and relaxing movement. The goal is to improve strength, flexibility and mobility; increase the ability to listen to your body; explore intuitive movement; and release stress and tensions with a more spontaneous and fluid practice. Suitable for everyone, even beginners, it offers an inclusive and liberating experience for those seeking a deeper connection with themselves through mindful movement.
